Samsung has raised prices on several more Galaxy phones in the United States, following a price hike on the Galaxy S26 series. According to 9to5Google, the increases affect the Galaxy A57, Galaxy A37, Galaxy A27 and Galaxy A17, with adjustments ranging from $20 to $70 depending on the model and configuration. The changes appeared through Samsung.com and other retailers.
The move comes as component costs, particularly memory, continue to climb across the industry. 9to5Google notes that price hikes are becoming the norm, pointing to increases in the past 24 hours on both Samsung's Galaxy S26 flagships and the seven-year-old Nvidia Shield TV Pro. Android Authority also reported steep price hikes across Samsung's Galaxy A series in the US.
Galaxy A price increases in the US
The affected models are Samsung's more affordable Galaxy A line, which sells in high volumes in the US and other markets. 9to5Google reports that PhoneArena first highlighted the price changes, and that this is the second major price hike on the Galaxy A17.
Samsung's entry-level Galaxy A17 launched in January at $199, and it has now seen its price rise again. 9to5Google describes the increase as over 35% compared to the launch price. The other models in the list also saw adjustments, though Samsung has not issued a public explanation for the timing.
