Oppo has launched the F35 and F35 Pro in India, a pair of mid-range phones that bring two headline upgrades over last year's F33 series: 8,000mAh batteries and 50MP selfie cameras. The announcement was made on schedule, and both devices are already available for pre-order on Oppo.com, Amazon and Flipkart.
The F35 Pro is the more feature-packed model, adding a larger 144Hz OLED display, an ultra-wide rear camera and a faster MediaTek chipset that enables 4K video recording. The standard F35 keeps a smaller screen but shares the same huge battery and high-resolution front camera. Both phones will go on open sale from Sunday, October 11.
Oppo F35 Pro specs and features
The F35 Pro centres on a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 1,272 x 2,772px resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space and reaches a peak brightness of 1,800 nits in HBM mode. An under-display fingerprint reader handles biometrics, and the screen is protected by AGC DT-Star D+ glass.
Powering the phone is MediaTek's Dimensity 7360 MAX, a 4nm chip with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G615 GPU. It can be configured with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 8,000mAh battery supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, 55W USB PPS and 44W UFCS.
On the back, there's a 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.8 lens, joined by an 8MP ultra-wide module with a 116° field of view. The 50MP selfie camera uses an ultra-wide 100° lens with autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture. Both front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 30fps, with a dual-view recording mode.
